This album has the quintet leaning into more alternative rock territory while still remaining true to their singer songwriter and folk based roots. The songs on the album take a hard look at the experience of love. Walking the listener through encounters of infatuation, comfort, disintegration, and acceptance of certain truths regarding the suffering and beauty of living a life in service to, and in search of, love.
